What this site is
Pro Logo Resizer (logoresizetool.com) is a collection of free tools and guides for one specific, surprisingly fiddly job: getting a logo and other brand images into the right size, shape and format for wherever they need to go — a website header, an Instagram profile, a favicon, an email signature, a QR code on a flyer.
The site has two halves that are meant to work together:
- Tools — the Logo Resizer plus focused tools for favicons, transparent backgrounds, white and black logo versions, profile pictures, QR codes with logos, SVG tracing, compression, image metadata and more.
- Guides — in-depth articles that explain the why: which size a platform really needs, why logos go blurry, which file format to use, what breaks a QR code. Each guide links to the tool that does the job.
Who is behind it
The site is built and run by Wamiq Hussain, founder of Webteqno Ltd, a founder-led web design and development studio. Over nine-plus years Wamiq has built more than 200 websites for service businesses, e-commerce stores, nonprofits, course platforms and booking and membership sites, working across WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, custom PHP and a long list of third-party platforms. He also builds his own software products, including MenuBeacon, a QR menu and restaurant ordering platform — which is where much of the practical QR-code knowledge in our guides comes from.
Almost every one of those website projects involved the same small, time-consuming tasks: the client’s logo arrives as a 300-pixel JPG on a white box, the favicon is missing, the social profiles all use different versions, the email signature logo is enormous. These tools started as internal utilities for handling that work quickly and consistently, and were published so anyone can use them. You can read more on Wamiq’s founder profile.
Why the tools run in your browser
Logos are often unreleased, client-confidential or simply private. So the image tools on this site are built to process files locally in your browser using JavaScript and the HTML canvas. When you choose a file, it is read by the page on your device; the result is created on your device; and downloading saves it straight from your browser. Your images are not uploaded to our server for processing.
That design has limits we are open about: browser memory caps how large or how many images you can process at once, and tasks that need heavy AI models (like cutting a person out of a photo) are outside what these tools do. Where a tool has a limit, the tool page says so.
How we write and test guides
Every guide is written for a specific question a real person has — “what size should my YouTube banner be?”, “why is my logo blurry on my phone?” — and aims to answer it completely on one page. We check platform specifications against the platforms’ own help centres and link to them in a sources section on every guide. Where we make claims about file formats or image quality, we test them: for example, our format comparison reports file sizes we measured ourselves, and the comparison images in our guides were generated from our own sample logos.
In September 2026 we reviewed the whole library, merged overlapping articles into single in-depth guides, and re-checked every specification. The full process — including how we handle corrections and AI assistance — is described in our editorial policy.
How the site is funded
The tools and guides are free to use, with no account and no watermark. The site may display advertising through Google AdSense to cover hosting and development costs; ads are kept separate from tool controls and content. It also introduces Webteqno’s web design services, which is how the time spent building the tools is justified. We do not accept payment to recommend products in our guides. See our privacy policy for how analytics and advertising cookies work.
Corrections and feedback
Platforms change their image rules often, and we would rather hear about an outdated number than leave it up. If you find an error, a broken tool or a guide that did not answer your question, please contact us with the page address and what you expected. Corrections are usually made within a few working days and noted in the page’s “Updated” date.
