How to Make a Profile Picture From Your Logo

Your profile picture is the smallest, most-seen piece of your brand. Because nearly every platform crops avatars into a circle, a logo that looks fine as a rectangle can get awkwardly clipped. This tool keeps your mark centered inside the circle-safe area, adds a clean background, and exports every size you need.

Steps

  1. Upload your logo (a transparent PNG works best on a colored background).
  2. Pick a background color or gradient so a transparent logo stays visible.
  3. Use zoom to size the logo nicely within the circle.
  4. Download a single PNG, or the full size pack as a ZIP.

Common avatar sizes

The ZIP includes a 512px master plus 400, 200 and 96px versions that cover all of these.

Should the background be transparent?

For circular avatars, a solid or gradient background usually looks best. Choose “None” only if the platform shows avatars on a known color.
